Why George Mason’s refused to sign the Constitution: #8: An unrestricted pardon power could let a President pardon accomplices in treason, concealing his own involvement. #15: The new government could evolve into either monarchy or a corrupt, tyrannical aristocracy.

Past 24 hours of "I am the Code" and naming everything in sight (including Ford's Theater) stories suggested this to me, and ChatGPT provided. With apologies to Louis-Dieudonné.

This has nothing to do with Israel. It is pure antisemitism, which has alternately simmered and boiled over for millennia. Israel is a convenient excuse to go after anyone who identifies as being an engaged Jew.

We live in a world where the incumbent HHS Secretary delivers a keynote at a conference that attacks the polio vaccine and where our incoming surgeon general owns stock in tobacco companies and sells “herbals.” This is deeply abnormal. Save our ship. @nicollewallace.bsky.social

Another outrageous anti-information move. As with COVID, if you don’t count cases, they don’t exist. Non-citizen people who live in the U.S. use roads, fire services, schools, etc. We need to count them to plan for these services. (1/2) wallstreetjournal-ny.newsmemory.com?publink=03b0...

Drugs and vaccines have had a dramatic effect in improving life expectancy and quality of life in the past 100 years. With no exception that I can think of, ALL drugs and vaccines have "side effects," some that are severe. That is why regulators balance risk vs. benefit in drug approvals.
