The current US administration is attacking the US forest service and threatening national parks and forests. Trump has ordered the most devastating dismantling of the forest service in 121 years. 193 million acres are being handed to political appointees. It's disgusting, disgraceful and must be stopped.

The US Forest Service was created by Theodore Roosevelt and built by Gifford Pinchot to keep professional, science-based management out of the hands of industry. For 121 years it has protected 193 million acres of public land on behalf of every American.

That vision is being taken apart not through legislation, not through debate, but through executive orders and bureaucratic moves designed to gut the agency before anyone can stop it.

Save the US Forest Service. Save the Redwoods.
