Updates across all three apps Shipped updates to all three of my Android apps this week. SunZones got the biggest one. There's a whole Night & Moon section now: moonrise and moonset, when astronomical night actually starts and ends, how much of that darkness is 🧵 1/6

I moved my blog Yesterday I have pulled the plug on Wordpress and moved to Ghost. Basically wordpress was acting up, pictures weren't going through and it was THE most resource-hungry service on my server. No more. Moved to Ghost. 🧵 1/2

If I had to pick one thing that I’m missing from iPhone, it would be it’s camera ecosystem. Seriously, there are SO MANY apps to shoot with. Be the change you want to see in the world, so I’m building my own. This is the first pic from it. It’s not good, I just wanted to archive it.

There was something wrong with my YouTube Music account. It wasn’t working properly with Sonos because I had a channel. I’m too old for this so my agent moved my playlists and subscriptions to the main account then nuked what’s left. 🧵 1/2

I’m not listening to that much music anymore, so we dropped Spotify. YouTube Music is already in our YouTube Premium sub, so me and wifey just moved there. And I have to say, because I listen to LOTS of mixes on YouTube, the recommendation mechanism is spot on. 🧵 1/2

I’ve been using an iPhone 14 Plus as my dev and testing device lately, and the thing is kind of funny. It’s a perfectly good phone. Three years old, not ancient by any measure. But you can really see how far Apple has let it drift behind on anything modern. 🧵 1/4
