Just before the rain . #Sharemondays2026
Sometimes it is just the simple things, that catch your eye, this leaf was just lying there and I was drawn to the colours and the changing of them, rain was just starting as well. Autumn has started here.

Been plenty of Fungi about in the woods, from the tiniest of ones, to some that was 8" across. For me the flip out screen on the camera has been a game changer. #fungi #EastCoastKin #Ayrshire
A rather nice bit of Fungi from last Saturday, where the woods just kept giving. I like to get down as low as possible and for it is only having the flip out screen on the camera that has enabled me to do so.

Woods are starting to come alive with fungi. #Sharemondays2026 #EastCoastKin
The woodland floor is beginning to come alive with fungi, 2 pieces of fungi and to the right of the larger one, there is a little beastie as well, that I never even noticed, till I got it on the large screen, using a diffuser to shade them from the sun, that was coming in and out and battline the wind.

Fungi time is starting off well. #Sharemondays2026
With the rain, comes the fungi on the woodland floor. It is like the changing of the seasons, heading to Autumn, it probably is my favourite time of the year.

The tiniest thing, that I have tried to get a picture off, these Slime moulds would not even be 1mm tall. #Sharemondays2026 #Macromondays #EastCoastKin
I watched a video and it was about growing your own slime moulds in a plastic box, so I tried and this is one of the results, not even 1mm tall, a focus stacked image. A new hobby, one that I am going to pursue over the coming years.

So much just now is all about the tiny beasties. #Sharemondays2026
I see this as a bit of a face off, with the two tiny beasties looking at each other and the two larger ones are like the corner man.
I wish I had discovered the tiny world, when I was younger.
