We normally see this kind of stonewalling/parsing language during Supreme Court justice confirmation hearings, as potential justices don’t want to give away their thinking on cases that could come up before the court But there is no reason why Pam Bondi can’t address this fact during this hearing

One thing that can be taken away from these hearings is that all nominees have been nervous to answer any question about Donald Trump's limits while in office. This is not accidental. This is the direct result of why these nominees are here in the first place. Trump wants yes men.

Excellent 🧵 via @atrupar.com on Bondi's confirmation hearing. Sadly, the whole hearing is a joke. Bondi, of course, lies and evades questions about her 2020 election denialism and about whether or not she will follow Trump's orders to prosecute his perceived enemies –– which, we all know she will.
