The teacher training workshops we have organized at @utu.fi have been popular! Teachers get up-to-date info on research findings (in practical workshops by researchers), can plan how to apply those ideas to their teaching (mini projects), and can discuss any challenges/questions with colleagues.

I would say: yes! (And I think many would agree). Engaging in pre-service and in-service teacher training, writing about research findings on various platforms (OASIS summaries are great!), participating in policy making (if possible) etc… Many ways to do this!
