Nevertheless they did have some legible data from the letter as it found it's way into my file on their system. During the phone call, I gave them my new address in the UK.

Astonishing! I wrote to the DWP to ask to pay my pension into a different bank account. No response, so I phoned them & it turns out that my letter didn't scan properly so it was illegible. Did they write to me or phone me - nope - they just ignored it.

That is utter fucking bollocks! I lived in Luxembourg where I would have been surprised if I could not get an appointment to see a family physician the same day I asked for an appointment. At worst, I'd expect to be seen the day after I sought an appt.

Before I left Luxembourg, I had a Prostate MRI scan. The results showed a low risk of any clinically significant cancer requiring treatment. So, I can relax a bit. I had a biopsy some years ago with some samples containing cancer cells but it seems to be pretty inactive.
