The Patriots just had a technical 36-yard sack when a fumble by Aaron Rodgers just kept bouncing back and back and back some more. Based on the @pro-football-reference.com Stathead database, that is the largest loss on a sack since at least 1977. Previously was 31 yards by Steve Grogan in 1977.

Do you think the Steelers ever thought, “We will be further from a first down than Rodgers is old?”

Approval voting is what I believe you’re suggesting… You can also provide addendums to limit class size eg “top 5 most popular” or “minimum 75% yes” etc

Since 1960 there have been 66 AFL Championships or AFC Championship Games Of every QB to start those games, no QB has had fewer pass attempts than Jarrett Stidham who will start on Sunday: It is the fewest since 2004 Ben Roethlisberger. Inexperienced 😬

Pressure normally comes from the blitz, which Maye has been stellar against. Houston blitzes at League low rates and just wins with 4, much different beast.

The Buffalo Bills just gave a masterclass in union tactics to save their season. When the chips were down, they packed down into a massive maul and rumbled into the end zone, proving that sometimes the best way to advance in the NFL is to play a little rugby.

Each NFL team's regular season point differential in the Super Bowl era through the 2025 season. The Seahawks and Texans have reached new high points, while the Raiders and Jets have nearly matched their worst seasons ever.

Do you think with the chargers OL injuries the pats blitz less and trust the DL to generate pressure passively, or blitz more to overload a weaker LAC unit?

Fortunately we have more stats than just yards and TDs in the modern NFL Preferring Stafford isn't mad, but I would hope you have more analysis than basic counting stats which exclude one of Drake's USPs, namely his huge rushing contribution (400 more yards, and 4 TDs)

Good morning Patriots fans! After going 4-13 last year, a win gives us the 2 seed, and potentially the 1 Our 4th down aggression has gone from bottom in the league with Mayo to top with Vrabel Campbell/Milton are back So for the 11th week a happy "Drake Maye tops the NFL in EPA" to all, lets go!

Preach! There's a number of existing MVP seasons who had easier pass schedule's than Maye this year (-4.88%), it's very strange to see the media narratives currently circulating. Either he or Stafford would be valid choices, but people needn't lie to make the case.

Correct. Maye leads the league in comp% while having the highest aDOT. On plays with a pass or sack, no rushing, Maye leads the league in EPA per play. On sacks, Maye has the seventh-best EPA/play and loses the fewest yards per play. Any issues with Maye aren't from playing scared.

I struggle to believe they're watching the games... Maye had this exact issue last year when there wasn't statistics to protect, he just is still learning how to navigate the pocket well and what to do to stay on time. Meanwhile he is *the* most aggressive and accurate downfield passer:
