Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Thanks so much. You have made Mondays fun for a small group ... some addicts aka "professionals". I'm really grateful 🙏. Best wishes Patrick 030
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 01/06/2026Is Aldershot / Tweseldown the only former course with a mound on the inside at the finish? Everyone seems to agree that no4 is Aldershot. I'm amazed. I've no idea about any of them. 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 31/05/2026Catching up. Would have got Folkestone and have guessed Donny. Recycle old pics. No problem with that. 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 20/05/2026I don't like the app and use my phone, tablet and PC to access www.racingpost.com I worked out my lays yesterday quicker than usual, as they have improved Topspeed layout.racingpost.comHorse Racing Cards, Results & Betting | Racing PostRacing Post, the home of horse racing news, cards and results. Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 05/05/2026Used a different phone, with my saved password in it. I can contribute again. Woo hoo. I would have got Exeter, but I mistook Lewes for Goodwood. 😕 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 03/02/2026Been to the old Stockbridge track when Ken Cunningham-Clown trained there. Couldn't see anything to suggest it was a racecourse other than his stables, which I think were the originals. Lovely wide grass gallops, as above. 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 01/02/2026But what if a horse fell rather than ''was well beaten''? Are they the same for this purpose? 100
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 01/02/2026Thanks. I have proved to Bluesky that ''I am what I am'' so can now contribute answers. Is it 12.30 UK when they are released? 110
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 27/01/2026Just worked out where that is on the Cheltenham course that was. Coming downhill from the road to Broadway and the racecourse station, past the paddock, and on to the track in front of the stand. I saw one Gold Cup start there in the 60s AFTER the long circuit behind the stands had gone. 110
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 27/01/2026Will the politics in the programme take a turn to the left, RD? 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 27/01/2026I thought so too. Good enough to win a Gr3 or Listed I would have thought. 110
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 25/12/2025www.greyhoundderby.com/Maiden%20Erl... It is next to Earleygreyhoundderby.comMaiden Erlegh Racecourse 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Not at Earley? Coincidence that there is an Erlegh and an Earley? Bon noel. 110
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 25/12/2025A re-think . . . No, it looks like the July course with the stands on the other side out of the picture? 000
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 25/12/2025St Leger was on the Rowley, rather than the July? 100
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 25/12/2025I know of many closed courses, particularly in the south but not Maiden Erleigh. 100
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/11/2025How far down or up the straight would the racegoers be at York? No winning post in the photo. 100

Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/11/2025It was the only one of the four that I didn't have to think about. It hasn't changed a bit. 020
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Well done anyway. I think you are right with 4, too. 120
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Clock tower is clearly Manchester. Surprised that no-one got that. Ive seen similar photos before. I can figure out Hexham, having seen the answer. Salisbury is obvious. Haydock I never get, always bowled centre stump with photos of it. I never went to Haydock, but have been to Chester n Aintree. 000
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Amazed that was 3-1. I can see York, at a stretch. The others not at all. 000
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/11/2025Yes. 3 has to be Alexandra Park now that I've seen your answer. They are above the handle of the frying pan below the palace and you can see the rails at the V. Well done, Rob. 020
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/11/20254 is definitely Salisbury, fingers crossed 🤞 010

Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 04/09/2025Still popular over here in 🇫🇷. I'm 70 but can testify that the younger generation 25+ all know Desireless and Voyage Voyage. In a trade-off I am now a fan of Mylene Farmer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1Le... 000
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 04/09/2025Need to get back in the Monday habit. I see I have missed at least one Lingfield. Damn and blast. 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 30/06/2025Re the Sandown photo, I never knew there was an era when owners, trainers wore bowler hats rather than trilbys. I thought it was Trilbys and Panamas since the war. 120
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 30/06/2025Not wild at all. A short-price favourite in my book. 030
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 30/06/20251 Sandown pre-parade ring 2 Newbury 3 Folkestone 4 Northolt 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/06/2025I've never seen any photos of Pershore, and I looked quite hard at one point. Even went to its location. 200
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 17/06/2025Not at all. Lingfield's stands were always significant. 010
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 02/06/2025www.greyhoundderby.com/Scarborough%... Seemingly a different location, as the turn of the century racecourse was seemingly at Seamer Moor.greyhoundderby.comSCARBOROUGH RACECOURSE 120
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 02/06/2025Charm Park, Scarborough! Do you or Merlyn know if the racecourse of old was at this location, or elsewhere? 110
Patrick Weaver @patrickweaver.bsky.social · 02/06/2025Grand set of photos again. Thanks for doing this every week. 030
