Apparently there was a Uralic writing system in the 14th century called Permic. Why don’t they use it anymore? It’s computer-compatible and everything. 𐍡𐍔𐍥 𐍮𐍱𐍛𐍜𐍩𐍥𐍙𐍡 𐍙𐍔𐍝 𐍐𐍣𐍠𐍐𐍜𐍛𐍣 𐍜𐍐𐍜𐍑𐍠𐍙 𐍢𐍣𐍟𐍣 𐍓𐍩𐍠𐍯𐍝 𐍟𐍣𐍚𐍯𐍥𐍛𐍣 𐍡𐍯𐍛𐍣 𐍩̈𐍘𐍩̈𐍡 𐍮𐍩𐍘𐍯𐍝 𐍤𐍞𐍜𐍛𐍩𐍝 𐍡𐍯𐍛𐍩𐍝, 𐍛𐍣𐍝𐍥𐍣𐍠𐍩. www.persee.fr/doc/rbph_003...

A passage from an article that says “From a historical point of view the Old Komi writing system, the Abur, (named after the first two letters of the alphabet an and bur) deserves special mention: it was invented in the 14th century by St. Stephen of Perm by combining Ancient Greek, Aramaic, Old Slavonic letters and was in use for 300 years until the 17th century.”

#Iran propagandists have the easiest job right now. You have to make Trump look like a bad guy? Just post his biography as is. No editing needed.

Guys, there’s this guy who keeps telepathically forcing based takes into my mind by pointing left and nodding. I don’t know his name, help me out. This is roughly what his soul looks like:

A pencil drawing of a serious man with a mullet pointing to the left. The questions “who is he?”, “is he ok?” and “what does he expect of me?” are written around in the same crinkled tear-dotted paper.

If any zoo worker has ever had a Chimpanzee approach them and whisper “Nobody will ever believe you, wage slave” and then roll around in the dirt like an animal, this is your chance to fess up. I’ll believe you. #PutApesToWork #AusterityMeasures #GorillaMechanics #OrangutanCEOs #CapuchinAstronauts

墨西哥的中文名字是一个被浪费的机会。应该用“国”字，而不是“哥”字。尤其是考虑到 "México"的 -co 也是一个地方的后缀。 #墨西哥 #中文 #外国

I think it would be way better to have the #Olympics back in Greece every 8 years. It celebrates the origins of the ceremony, cuts costs on organizing and building infrastructure, it increases the Greek economy and it spans out the (very few) countries that want to host the games over a longer time.

Trump a posté un TRIANGLE ROSE barré Le symbole est immonde. Historiquement, les triangles roses étaient ce que les nazis utilisaient pour catégoriser les homosexuels pendant la seconde guerre mondiale.

I worry we lack the terminology to discuss the threat of Musk. He isn’t a traitor to this country, rather he *IS* a country of one. He is personally richer than 150ish countries, Starlink is a geostrategic asset. He deployed armed mercenaries to US federal agencies & stopped Congressmembers.

Everyone can vote in a democracy, but #billionaires donating to political parties is essentially "voting premium".
