This is a bad thing and I'm sick of people saying it's not. Very clearly the CEO is going to treat them worse than Netflix is, and cinemas are never going to go away for the same reason libraries are never going to go away.

This is happening to me again.

At least 2 other smaller sites I frequent are down too. So for once I'm posting here.🤷‍♂️

I hope that 6 months of retail I just went through actually amounts to something otherwise it's just gonna feel like a waste of time.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 07/09/2025

And on that note, I have got a plan for a project which I think will interest me more to go faster, although I won't say it until it comes out, likely next year.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 07/09/2025

there's little passion when reading the script. I'll try, don't get me wrong but I think I'm better at talking about stuff I was passionate about straight away like OUAT and stuff I watched in childhood, rather than things I decided just cos it's different.

I will eventually finish editing on the HH video, but I will only do it when I feel like it, which might not be that often. The Horror movie ranking might still come out in October, but I doubt it. The Ghibli ranking got paused but I want to continue it before the movies fade from memory and

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 14/08/2025

The Horrible Histories cartoon has so much lore that I'll probably do a second video on it.

100

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 08/08/2025

The reason I've been spending less time watching movies and working on videos this year is that it's still a hobby and I've focused on other stuff to do for fun this year. While last year I was really dedicated, this year I've been interested in other things.

010

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 28/07/2025

The Superman video has done decently well, so I'll probably do the same for Fantastic Four too as I'll probably see it later on in the week. Might come out before the HH video too.😂

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

The Chain Game is an awful game. No one ever play The Chain Game.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

I would be getting a lot of work done on the HH video this week if my laptop wasn't broken. Because of that it might be delayed til early-mid August. Again, it is much harder to edit with clips now, although the video quality is probably going to be much better.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

I assume that it will have the same overarching plot over the two seasons then. The first look looks relatively decent. I'm still pretty excited for this show.

010

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

I just realised I don't think I mentioned Krypto in my entire Superman review. I've committed a dreadful sin.

010

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

I named all the DC media I've seen in the video. When I call myself a new superhero fan, that's very true. There's still a lot I haven't seen yet.

110

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

Again, I won't the DCEU until I do my Top __ superhero movies list in about three years. Not that I won't watch any other DC media. The Dark Knight trilogy is still high on my watchlist.

110

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

I'll try and make sure I get it right when I see the next film.

110

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

Probably. They could be a nice thing to do in between big videos. I just didn't start doing them regularly before because the Inside Out 2 video did really, really badly.

Just a short filler video about a movie I just watched. Hope you enjoy! www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpUa...

Superman Review Vlog

YouTube video by Patrick Brough

110

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 15/07/2025

I'm watching Superman on Friday, and I've decided to do a vlog on that after I see it. These long breaks could be affecting channel growth so I think it's best to get something out this month as I have no idea when the HH vid is coming out.

010

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 13/07/2025

I was going to go out to the park today, but I might go tomorrow instead when it's raining. Yeah, it would be much better weather then.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

Turns out my editor breaks or something when using clips. Idk what to do now.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 05/07/2025

I procrastinated on the HH video for a while but I think everything's back up and running now. I will be using clips, but it's my first time doing it, so please understand if they're not integrated well.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

Spoilers for Ironheart; The show's pretty decent. Just I'm kinda gonna miss making speculation jokes about Mephisto.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

I'm officially at least postponing my Movie Thursday watches. It's not that I don't want to do it anymore (I do), I just want to focus on keeping up with movies I'm watching for my YouTube channel. Plus I haven't done it the last few weeks anyway, so it doesn't exactly matter.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

It's not perfect, but overall I did enjoy the first half of Ironheart.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

Also I've already recorded the first 4 or so episode reviews where I say stuff like 'if I can find pics' and 'I don't show clips but...'

110

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

Yeah. I had the same issue with the Home TV series but that wasn't that big an issue as it's not like I was doing a full video on every episode of the show.

110

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

Guess doing more work is the right call in general to make my videos better. Maybe this is a good video to try and see how it goes, but Idk.

000

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

I should use clips for all my videos logically. It's just I've heard from other review YouTubers I watch how often they get stupidly copyright claimed, as well as the fact that I've just always assumed editing would be easier if I just used pics I found from Google Images.

Sure the President bombed a nation without approval from congress in an area he said we need to stop getting into wars in… But at least queer kids don’t have a suicide help line. At least measles isn’t being treated. At least migrant families are torn apart. At least we don’t have a woman in charge.

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

Might be better if I try. Do I have to download the videos to do so? It's not like clips of individual scenes are easy to find either. Also, the cartoon was made by ITV, not the BBC.

110

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

The HH cartoon would be a better video if they were better pictures for it out there.

A cult founded in 1974 and 'disbanded' in 1997. By that, I mean all 39 members committed suicide because they thought it would take them to a 'higher plane of reality'.

It's very hard to make a competitor when YouTube just dominates the entire thing. That's why most 'competitors' take on different parts of YouTube. Like TikTok with shorts and Twitch with livestreams. The general site though? Yeah, doubt an alternative of that can be fully presented.

Dailymotion has always been terrible. At least when I've used it.

Patrick @patrickb2.bsky.social · 21/06/2025

I'm so glad I decided to add background music to videos! Now I can have my fan on while recording and no one will notice!

Cults like this are scary. People get so brainwashed into leaving their lives so early. It's sickening.

The cartoon I'm watching is now confirmed to take place in the same world as Planet of the Apes. I'm not joking. This show is above jokes.
