The average cost of center-based childcare in PA is $1,243/month, higher even than the national average. Child care is essential economic infrastructure! We need leaders, in Harrisburg and in D.C., who will fight for families. #ThePriceIsHigh firstfocus.org/update/the-b...

The Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit (WPTC) is a newer program that puts money back in the pockets of the people who need that support the most. This state tax credit is set at 10% of the federal EITC, so the max that a household in PA can get is $805. Which is impactful, but we could do better!

Rising costs are squeezing American workers’s budgets—and paychecks aren’t keeping up. PA's current minimum wage? $7.25/hr, or $2.83 for tipped workers. 3 out of every 4 Americans say their incomes aren’t keeping up with inflation. #ThePriceIsHigh www.cbsnews.com/news/incomes...

Republicans promised to lower costs. Instead, they cut healthcare to cut taxes for the rich. Now, Pennsylvanians are paying an average $572 /month for ACA coverage. That's up 24% from 2025. Healthcare. Gas. Groceries. It feels like there’s no escape. #ThePriceIsHigh
