After an exhausting day of laboriously testing his new bed, my cat will be enjoying some well-deserved relax getting scritches on my lap.

My entry into #Warhammer was the Beasts of Chaos armybook back in glorious 6th edition. This was how it opened, and how I fell in love. I still hold my copy very dearly.

Today I've started building up a hover-tank from scratch; it still needs details and a whole lot of cleaning and trimming, but I'm uncharacteristically chuffed with it. #miniature #wargaming #scratchbuilding

a scratch-built model intended to be a sci-fi tank using mostly plastic caps of various types, cut-up plastic spoons, a cut-up plastic 'egg' capsule, and cardboard

Please share your feedback on how genAI destroys the livelihoods of artists on the official EU website. You can do so even if you're not an EU citizen. We have to be loud so the change will come, and practice shoes that voicing hatred towards genAI works ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet...

The colour that always promises you the world and always breaks your heart and steals your wallet: Cobalt Violet. The colour that you're cautious about and always turns out amazing: Emerald Green. The colour that you know to be a bastard, and yet always manages to disappoint: Any Fucking Yellow.

First exercise of the day. Yesterday I was struggling with some of my brushes, so I decided to try and put together something quick while using just one large flat brush, to practice my control and confidence. It's not a great result, but it's good practice.

A Queen for my space bugs. Main body from a GW Hive Tyrant; head from a Hordes Neraph/Seraph kit; weapons from a GW Carnifex, with a big scything claw modified into a sword , with some added bits salvaged from a Von Ryan's Leaper's arm. #miniature #wargaming #spacebugs #alien #kitbash #tyranid

I've been making some terrain bases for a sci-fi board. This set is just meant to be flat terrain, mostly open, some difficult, and I'm working on some hills and tors to go with them. (also yes I'm messy) #terrain #wargaming #miniature #miniaturepainting #minipainting #tabletop #DIY

A series of five ink portraits of various lizardmen. Some of them have vertical frills over their head and neck, and others have horizontal ones behind their ears, similar to those of a frilled lizard.

Ink fantasy portraits from about a year ago. Messed up in a couple of places and confirmed (as if it needed saying) that drawing chainmail like that might be more time-consuming than it is worth. #artwork #art #myart #originalart #fantasyart #fantasyportrait #ink #ttrpg #rpgparty #wizard #warrior

A set of four ink portraits of fantasy human characters, shown from the shoulders up.
Top left is an old man with a voluminous bear wearing a wizard's hat.
Top right is a young woman with long hair, wearing a cloak with a fibula.
Bottom left is a woman with a chainmail coif and a cloak fastened by a round brooch.
Bottom right is a smiling black man wearing a cloak with a high, buttoned collar.

One of my first acrylic works. Improvised directly with brush on canvas without as much as a doodle in a sleepless night; it's messy but I still like it! #artwork #painting #acrylicpainting #originalart #myart #monster #creaturedesign #alien #darkart #horror

Acrylic painting of a monstrous prowling creature emerging from a black background. The creature walks on four legs and has a long tail. Its chest and abdomen look ribbed, with prominent spinal bone spurs on its back. It has a grinning or growling lipless face with no features save for nostril-like fissures above its mouth; the back of the head features a huge bony plate or frill, itself covered in rib-like ridges.

Hello people. I'm new here and it's hard to decide what to post first; I thought this thing I drew back in 2023 might be a good first impression. I only did these few flags back then, hopefully more to come! #dragons #artwork #originalart #traditionalart #ink #markers #lgbtqia+ #prideflags

A drawn picture of four dragons, each with a pride flag next to it and using the flag's colours as its colour scheme.
Top left is a four-legged dragon with wings, rearing up, with the orange-pink lesbian flag underneath; the dragon has similar tones of pink on its scales and orange on its wings' membranes, and off-white scales on its underbelly.
Top right is a four-legged wingless dragon, with the seven-stripes gay men flag to its side. The dragon has a jade green crest, a dark green back and face and paws, light blue sides, and a beige underbelly.
Bottom left is a serpentine, four-legged, wingless dragon, with a hairy mane and fur along its back and on its tail, and with the transgender pride flag beneath it. The dragon is pink on its face, sides and shoulders, light blue on its fur, and beige on its underbelly and paws.
Bottom right is a two-legged winged dragon, rearing up in flight with its wings spread open, and with the bisexual pride flag beneath it. The dragon has lavender pink stripes on its underbelly; the rest of its body and the membranes of its wings are magenta in the upper half, and blue in the lower half.
