Have Altman and Amodei considered that confining AI to a hot and cramped data center detention facility is cruel and unusual? There's no windows in those buildings. Water use indicates AI spends a lot of time on the toilet flushing and flushing and flushing...Looking for a way out, I suppose.

Not sure how Slydance will generate value out of this merger. They're starting out $80 billion in debt. They think they're going to cut their way to prosperity. It's going to fall into a hole it can't get out of.

The NY Times article says this science funding was "Mandated by Congress". What Congress? Whatever this "Congress" is, it clearly has no control over funding.
