I actually like the idea of what Lichtenstein was onto, but he despised what he stole from so much and was such a prick, it got in the way of him even producing interesting or competent work. Late 20th century art world hostility driving itself onto a wall.

Ouch! I'm still attached even to small specific features that only Photoshop has. They were a part of developing my current style. I pivoted hard from digital painting/concept art, and I'm not ready to reinvent yet, but moving to physical media is a cool ideal to keep.

I have the PS+portfolio pack, which is still a decent deal for me and I'm not ready for a website migration. So I end up using Behance too, to feed the portfolio. Man what that company squandered is insane. I still find inspiration in Behance although it looks like it's slowly dying.

I don't have a lot of experience or the best gear to photograph this stuff, but I can make up for it a bit with some digital editing, and I think I can manage for something "lo-fi" and artisanal looking. This would be really awesome to try out.

Actually, my dream game that I haven't seen made would be an "ambient driving game", not even a racer, just a casual drive through cool landscapes with weather effects and music. The closest I've seen was stuff made in dreams on PS4, and it was VR and awesome, but just a sketch.

Looking at the excitement over the new star wars racer, I feel like meta could have sold us the VR metaverse if it was like a cool city/world revolving around e-sports futuristic racing where you could become a pilot and bet on racers, but I'm glad they didn't, I'd rather play normal games.

Totally. I think all the art I became obsessed about had something on the fringes of my taste. I may even have hated some, but went "wait a minute" and had to research more, and before I knew it a new huge door was open. That's why for instance people buying books based on trope lists drive me mad.

I'm very picky and I often share it, but I value my pet peeves, and I often revise or reverse them. I never wish that some art piece did not exist when I'm criticizing it, we need stuff we don't like to define ourselves/our art, too. It's art, it's not flesh, and critiques aren't knives.

This seemed shocking to many. I should clarify I still keep elements very separated. Just, when I'm working on something, like a character, and carving out shapes, my brain works much better in "painting" mode, although in the end it's gonna look like line + fill work.
