In a time of uncertainty for creativity and passion that has been inundated by Ai slop and corporate greed, Iron Lung and by extension Markiplier are a shining beacon of hope for the future. It's been a long time since I have felt the fire to create. Thank you.

Also yes I am waiting for the three second cameo of Toji in the new season, give it to me.

020

Paper @paperficwriter.bsky.social · 09/01/2026

*SLAMS door open* Toji refers to himself as a monkey who can't do jujutsu. The staff Playful Cloud used to belong to him (and he used it again when he came back from the dead). Is that a reference to Son Goku from Journey to the West who rebelled against heaven, it HAS TO BE.

Going into 2026, a reminder for everyone who's fallen off the creative wagon, game dev, writing, art, music, whatever, no matter how long:

A post by c.a.t.y.a.y that reads, "I wonder what my art could've been if I didn't quit". Iggy responds, "I wonder what it will be if you start again"

I know it's difficult to be creative when we're just trying to survive. But it does matter. Whether you make things professionally or as a hobby or even if you make something that you never show to anybody. It's good for the human soul to create.

i’m setting you free. i’m releasing you from the discourse

4 panel comic

Panel 1:
Red Guy looking way way too happy yells “Hey Guys! Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?”
Blue Guy next to him calmly says “Shhh”

Panel 2:
Blue Guy tenderly puts his arms around Red Guy and says “You don’t have to do this”

Panel 3:
Blue Guy still holds Red Guy tightly and repeats “You don’t have to do this every year”. Red Guy begins to break.

Panel 4:
Red Guy dissolves into Blue Guy’s embrace, sobbing. He finally feels the weight of Christmas Discourse lifting from his shoulders. He is finally free.

oh no Josée I'm sorry sdfjdsfkjh yeah when one finds themself on a site that might have people around who *rhyme* with yahtzee banning people randomly, one likes to avoid inadvertently becoming part of the conversation.

I don't think, say, a restaurant can be a specific "regional institution" if I can go to one in several different regions and get the exact same food. Like, homey, that's just a franchise.

So first thing's first, you've got to divide monsters into "the physical act of sex would be inherently enjoyable for both of us," "I would enjoy myself with this monster," "if in a relationship with this monster, we'd find a way to be intimate," and "kinky." These are non-overlapping categories.

As for movies... K-Pop Demon Hunters: cinema, a masterpiece, lives in my brain rent-free full time Sinners: so fucking good Captain America Brave New World: so fucking bad lmao Godzilla Minus One: SO FUCKING GOOD I've definitely watched other stuff I can't remember, but those things stick out.

Paper @paperficwriter.bsky.social · 06/08/2025

- Common Side Effects: loved it - D3vil M4y Cry: I really enjoyed this, like fucking adored it so much, and I can't even put into words how fucking upset I am about the creator being an alt-right fanboy (hence me stylizing the name, I don't need that drama) - Uzumaki: just fine, we all know why

110

Paper @paperficwriter.bsky.social · 06/08/2025

- Creature Commandos: fucking loved it, hands down one of my favorite series of the past year - The Pitt: watched the whole thing in like two nights, haven't been that into a medical drama since House (...or Scrubs lol) - Lazarus: a good time, just don't walk into it comparing it to Cowboy Bebop

110

Paper @paperficwriter.bsky.social · 06/08/2025

- Ironheart: not bad, if you don't watch as a super hero show. - Frieren: still working on it, adore it, perhaps one of the best fantasy series I've ever watched - Sakamoto Days: having fun with it - Dandadan: same, also fun - Daredevil: working on it, very good, cops/politics feel a little too real

Paper @paperficwriter.bsky.social · 06/08/2025

Things I Have Been Watching While Away - Severance: yes, after 84 years, I've caught up--the whole aspect of 'separate consciousness=different person' did not click with me until I started watching the show. Before that I was like, "I could work and not remember that shit?? That sounds rad!"

- We have a puppy. Her name is Pepper and she is a corgi and adorable. - Boone is still around. I, uh, had some issues with Boone and my hand was fucked up for a while. Still healing but...yeah. Anyway. - Hubs is good. Everything else is chill. Thankfully because fuck.

I just realized something... Do all enbies go through a Masc Hat stage, or was that just me? Like, high school through college I was utterly enamored with hats and I think subconsciously was like, "I will achieve True Gender Neutrality with this backwards cap/beret/beanie."
