From the Polygon article: "As of March 2026, Capcom had told investors that it did not plan to use generative AI to create content for its games." It seems Capcom's just using a new corporate buzzword without really saying anything. I'm not sure whether to trust they aren't using genAI, though.

I’ve played bad games and bad GameBoy ports of good games (Toy Story comes to mind, and I beat that as a kid!). Fantasia is the worst. Bram Stoker’s Dracula is child’s play. It would be a better game if it simply gave you invincibility frames.

Fantasia barely fucking works. I’m surprised the Genesis doesn’t spit the cartridge back in my face when I put it into the machine. It was very clearly rushe. It sounds terrible, plays worse, and dear god is it impossible towards the end. Never have I spent more time trying to finish a worse game.

A bit of a post-mortem about Bram Stoker’s Dracula on SNES: That game sucked. It was worse than I remember it being. But is it worse than Fantasia on Sega? Fuck no! Dracula playable. It’s got baffling design decisions (NO I-FRAMES?!), but it’s at least somewhat competent as an action game.
