Our recent work, led by Stefan Maessen is now published in @angewandtechemie.bsky.social where we show that simple mixing of 2 components results in the spontaneous formation of a long-range ordered and highly aligned crosslinked network. Check it out now: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

Spontaneous Long‐Range Order and Alignment in Phase‐Separated Dynamic Covalent Networks Using Discrete Siloxanes
Spontaneously aligned, long-range hexagonal columnar ordering is obtained in phase-separated dynamic covalent networks by combining discrete siloxanes and dynamic acylsemicarbazide bonds. The ordered...

Theoretical Framework for Predicting Dynamic Covalent Exchange Based on Proton Affinities and Proton‐Transfer Assistance
Proton‑transfer catalysis controls acylsemicarbazide dissociation, linking proton affinity to exchange kinetics and enabling predictive design of robust, tunable dynamic covalent networks.

In our latest work in @msde.rsc.org led by Tessa Loman, we looked at how the microstructures can be selectively modulated without altering overall particle morphology of single chain polymeric nanoparticles (SCPNs). Check it out here: pubs.rsc.org/en/content/a... Congratulations to Tessa and team.

Conformational behaviour of photoresponsive single-chain polymeric nanoparticles
Inspired by nature's dynamic materials, we here develop photoresponsive single-chain polymeric nanoparticles (SCPNs) that undergo light-induced changes in their polymeric microenvironment while retain...

Enhancing the CuAAC efficiency of a Cu(I)–NHC complex in biological media by encapsulation
A novel [(NHC)2Cu]Br (Cu(i)–NHC) complex promotes CuAAC reactions in organic solvents, water, buffers and even complex biological media in good yields. Encapsulation of the Cu catalyst in an amphiphilic...
