🌧️🌧️🌧️Today’s one-day rain totals near my parent’s house in the western Las Vegas valley. More rain than Las Vegas recorded for three out of the last six entire years. Parts of Death Valley had around 3/4” today as well. The soutwest was impacted by (former hurricane) post-tropical storm Rachel. 🌧️🌧️🌧️

Hmm, only other things I can think of are State of Washington seal, or the quarter but neither features a tricorn hat. Nor did the statue for that matter. Seems more like a Washington crossing the Delaware or Revolutionary War re-enactment sort of thing. No one goes as GW for Halloween these days.

Silly little anecdote about today. I believe schools are out today. Already three deliveries for birthday flowers the door has been answered by adolescent boys. On each time I’ve done the usual - “hi, delivery for xxx.”

I was at Providence earlier this summer and noticed they were sprucing up their garage. I went up to the top and was pleased by the view. Not proximate to the runways but just the same, pretty high up with an impressive sight line.
