I find my writing is most productive when I allow myself to jump between projects. Right now, writing a piece for my substack, a piece for my zine, two things for my contract writing job, and some other things that may or may not go anywhere.

Is there a German word for when you’ve eaten too much pizza so you feel mildly sick but also you don’t regret it and would do it again if given the chance? Asking for no particular reason

I picked the perfect unhinged #firstWatch movie for tonight, the late 80s low budget horror flick DEATH SPA. Like a solid tenth of the movie is just B Roll of people working out with a weird storyline that isn’t sure if it’s sci-fi, paranormal, or like soap opera melodrama.

image shows a panel from Action Comics #1 (1938) which reads "Superman! Champion of the Oppressed, the physical marvel who had sworn to devote his existence to helping those in need!"

Had this one for a few months but finally getting around to my watch through. Maybe not my favorite of the films but still beautiful in #4K #PhysicalMedia

Been back ordered for a month but finally arrived today. One of the most visually stunning films from the early aughts. #physicalMedia #4k

February was a good month for this #physicalMedia collector, got my hands on a few films I’ve been wanting for a while thanks to some good discounts

One of my favorite little-known Godzilla facts is that his skin isn't scales or anything like. He is literally covered head to tail in keloid scars caused from radiation. This was an intentional part of his design as part of the nuclear metaphor of the original film and has stuck with him ever since

I finally got my hands on the 4k Dollars trilogy cuz Amazon had Fistful of Dollars for super cheap and they’re gorgeous 4k transfers. They’ve been on my list since i saw @jeffrauseo.bsky.social’s review video and cheerleading how great spaghetti westerns look in 4k and he was not wrong

And Day 23, Christmas Eve Eve, we have the Mean One. Now I haven't actually seen this one yet, but I hope to today, but the Grinch is already a fairly horrific concept so I'm excited for an explicitly horror twist.

The Superman 5-Film Collection 1978-1987 Steelbook has been on my list for ages, and I am so glad to finally have it in my collection. Only complaint is they did not include the Extended Cut (tv cut) in the collection, so glad I have it on Bluray.

The Superman 5-Film Collection 1978-1987 Steelbook box set is in background, with the Superman the Movie Steelbook and a Blu-ray copy of Superman The Movie Extended Cut on a white table.
