Watching an episode of the 7Os tv series Kung Fu. Old West Kwai Chang Kaine just had a flashback to Young Man Kwai Chang Caine, who then had a flashback to kid Kwai Chang Caine. I’ve never seen a triple-decker flashback before.

There’s a back road I take to and from work every day. Driving along I get to see the colors change with the seasons, say hi to horses and cows as I pass them. Thoroughly lovely. I noticed a month ago that a Flock camera has been installed. My new hobby is flipping it off every time I pass it.

I’m reading Tolkien’s translation of Gawain and the Green Knight. I notes there’s like a single paragraph or so where the original author writes that Gawain spent hella long wandering around, and fighting dragons and trolls and bandits but that’s too much for this story, so let’s skip all that… 1/3

Reading the ILM 50th anniversary book got me feeling wistful and nostalgic for the brief time I was there in the fall of ‘93. Took a drive up to San Rafael and poked around the abandoned campus a little. Photos are of the front door to the D building, the building I worked in for the most part.
