Shut offs will happen Sunday & Monday. If I get them taken care of I can literally relax for a WEEK until needing help again. Which I haven’t gotten to do for a long while. Mainly, avoiding shut offs would be amazing as usually something always gets shut off because we don’t get help on time.

That was great! I remember seeing that long ago on HBO between movies. Ben Burt was the sound designer for that. He went on to do Star wars and still works for Skywalker Sound.

In honor of scary media month: what is the first piece of media you remember truly frightening you as a child? I was 6 or seven years old, and the 1963 film The Haunting was on TV. The scene where Elenor mentions that the sounds in the house come from everywhere and nowhere gave me nightmares.

I remember when I was a little kid, WGN out of Chicago would have classic movies on when kids would have breaks from school. Watching Moby Dick, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Abbott and Costello films made up a big part of my childhood.
