Not proud of it, but as a virtual assistant I took my boss’s boating safety course for him. Reading @alaskabeacon.com’s excellent voter guide and gubernatorial candidate Michael Gilbert’s answers left me nauseated. Let’s get this straight, divorce tourism to an Alaska promising no alimony and no child support unavoidably will harm women & children.

Absolutely NOT. We should eliminate child support and alimony for all residents of Alaska and give 50/50 custody automatically barring ANY harm to the child/children's well being and transport to be provided, as well as care by the custodial parent, the state can charge the greater of $1,200 or 1-2% of net worth for a divorce, thereby bringing divorce tourism, new business and tax revenue, potentially lowering property tax and increasing home values.

I canned jelly for the first time yesterday! I had a friend help me can apple butter a couple years ago but she handled almost all of the actual canning so this was my first solo voyage. I made a small batch of peony jelly from my backyard flowers and managed to seal 6 out of 7 quarter pints!
