I don’t think I’ve become such a big fan of a band before and it’s a very nice feeling

Chiitan loves transgender people 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Even a plain statement like this now brings slander and insults, but I think a society where people can live happily as themselves matters more than silence, so I will keep saying it until the account is gone. love everyone🤍

Did you notice that when the woman youtuber was a confirmed plagiarist everyone was happy to end her career forever but when the man youtuber is a confirmed rapist we suddenly get dozens of posts about how "disheartening" it is that people don't believe in restorative justice

I love these behind the scenes videos mainly because I love hearing artists get excited and explain the process behind what they've made, it's so nice to hear genuine enthusiasm!

Owain Thresher @owainthresher.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

the benefit of hindsight tells me my research didn't go deep enough into the topic (only focusing on gender, rather than anything else), but idk man you'd hope it'd get a LITTLE better in that time

Owain Thresher @owainthresher.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Seeing lots of posts about how bad representation is in games media and it reminds me of my uni dissertation on gender representation and how bad it was - this was 10 years ago and it's really disappointing nothing has changed

Such a cold and out of touch way to comment on this, it's really made me angry

010

Owain Thresher @owainthresher.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

That's nice, what about the hundreds of people who have lost their jobs? Is that "great to see"?

Owain Thresher @owainthresher.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Whenever a big Creature Collector RPG hits the mainstream people seem to play it out of spite for Pokemon rather than excitement for whatever the new game is and I find that really weird

I'd love to know the range it could vary by, like something from Blizz to be like "It could range up to 25%" or something so I can gauge when to spend

I'd say I don't want to rain on your parade but my worst quality is I'm passionate about marketing so I am actually all too happy to talk about brand guidelines and why it actually sucks that Roxas is dabbing

News of pandas in HS made me rewatch Kung Fu Panda and I'm still amazed by how well it holds up - great animations, fight choreography and story, might go ahead and watch all of them (I've only seen 1 and 2 I think)

If it was toggleable like the Witcher vision in Witcher 3 it’d be better sure, but it looks a lot less cluttered than Spider-Man 2 was

I’ve reached the point - well actually, I reached it a while ago - where I’m militantly anti-AI. Fine - use it in bioscience labs and radiology where it might help analyse data more effectively. Use it sparingly for systems engineering. Everywhere else, it can fuck off.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

theverge.com

There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series

You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.
