One thing to note about Teyana Taylor winning the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress: since 2006, the Academy Awards have given supporting to a Black or Afro-Latina actress in 9 out of the last 19 ceremonies. It's the one Oscar category that Black women have dominated.
