Like in between RE2 and RE4, he puts him through his paces so he’s “rescue the President’s daughter” level of skilled, and just kept pushing him with badass training exercises in between games. Now he’s jumping off skyscrapers on a motorcycle, parrying rocket launchers, and got married.

It’s taken me years to learn when and when not to act, and how to act properly in complex and difficult situations. And even then, I’m not perfect. Andy has made peace with his past and his ex, and I wish the world would just let him live in peace.

I was in my 20’s. I was younger, more naïve, and wanted to do more to help him because I thought he was being wronged. Problem is that, in the long run, I’m just a random person on the Internet who likes the work he does. I’m not a close friend nor have I ever met him in person.

It’s tough because I want the best for people, and regardless of whatever he’s done in the past, he never deserved the constant harassment. I also have to be very careful when responding to people because if I let my anger get the better of me, I’ll get dragged in and things become more complicated

I didn’t because it’s not my place to interfere. I’m not a lawyer and I don’t want to do anything that would make the situation worse for Andy or for me either. It was frustrating as all get out to watch, and the best I could do was point out logical fallacies from the nay-sayers.

They asked for valid sources. They asked for any evidence that any legal action was taken. They asked for any substantial proof to back up the claims people were making. And they couldn’t do it. I could have found the original things that were written ages ago, but I didn’t.

Can’t say. If the debacle didn’t happen, then I’d be able to say that everything was fair and square. But it drives me nuts that random people will hound him for things he was never accused of doing. They just take Kiwi Farms or some other random person as a legitimate source.

I had no idea, and still have no idea, how much of what Andy or his ex said was true. I do recall it seemed like an airing of very dirty laundry and thought that was uncalled for at the time. But then the harassment campaign started and things got blown way out of proportion.

And since I was, and still am, a fan, I was around when he and his ex were living together and from what I could tell online, things were going well between them, When the breakup happened, I remember what his ex posted; sharing very personal details that I still remember, but won’t repeat here.

I’m more of an acquaintance really. I’ve never met him in person; and even though my profile icon was made by him, that was from an attempt at doing something at Blistered Thumbs a long time ago (circa 2012). But I’ve been a fan of his work since I was in High School and he was on Newgrounds.

I recently began doing some experiments over there. I always see various accounts posting “do you regret your vote” questions and the myriad “No I don’t regret! Bestest President ever! LOL!” responses. Turns out all of them, the questions and responses, are foreign accounts and/or bots.

I didn’t say he had earned my vote; I said I’d be more *inclined* to if he signed those bills. I hope he comes around, but if not, I hope someone who hasn’t expressed transphobic sentiments in the past like he has can have the same energy and drive to make a stand. People really need that now.

Most of these look like they’d be broad enough protections that passing them shouldn’t be too big an issue. AB 1084 might be too narrow that he vetoes that one, but if he vetoed that one and passed the other four, I’d be happy since 1084 is just a red tape issue. (1/2)

I just sent him an email. I’m not a Californian, but my wife and I have been following his actions against the current federal administration. My wife would like to see him run for President, and I told him if he passes these bills, I’d be more enthusiastic to vote and openly endorse him.

The developers are a studio based in the Netherlands: Blast Zero. But I believe their funding and backing for making this game is coming straight from Red Dunes Games. I’m no expert in the politics or culture of the Arabic world right now, but I did find this interesting.
