Ossiclefossil @ossiclefossil.bsky.social · 28/09/2026my mom would cram my wide feet into shoes that didn't fit and they would bleed, and she'd always yell at me during shoe shopping. yesterday i went to a shoe store for the first time in like a decade, with my brother, and i'm still in shock from how nice he was and how patient he was with me 100

Ossiclefossil @ossiclefossil.bsky.social · 25/09/2026speaking of dd i got a whole copy of a failed sd card that i can now save which is really awesome. Ossiclefossil @ossiclefossil.bsky.social · 25/09/2026forgot to mention because too much bad shit happened yesterday but my sd card corrupted and it was rough this time. didn't lose much but i'm learning the very basics of data recovery and it looks like i'm actually going to be able to recover absolutely everything off it. yay! 100
Ossiclefossil @ossiclefossil.bsky.social · 25/09/2026fun fact: Godot 3 supports OpenGL ES 2. on windows, 3d acceleration drivers for the Intel Atom N270 (the cpu in most netbooks) only support up to OpenGL 1.4, but linux supports just barely right up to 2.0. these old netbooks are fully capable of running the godot editor. you can do game dev on them 110
Ossiclefossil @ossiclefossil.bsky.social · 25/09/2026i have a dumbass predicament can't get the winxp sata (hard drive) drivers onto my stupid hp netbook, which are necessary obviously to install xp to the hard drive. it WILL read them off floppy. i have floppies and a drive, but i cannot use a floppy, because the driver itself is 10 whole megabytes 100
