I know this is old-fashioned of me, but I much prefer using Keynote / PowerPoint than LaTeX for my slides. Here's a new reason I've discovered for this: Presenting a PDF gives you no way to have your presenter notes on your screen while showing only the slides on the projector. Hate it.
