it very much depends for me because it varies tremendously. i like the atmospheric stuff because its the most beautiful but thats not "trve", and the more raw stuff either can be extremely anxious or depressing, but can be good art in that sense still.

And maybe its because i also havent even been to new york, aka "america's jerusalem" lol so the places i have lived have felt stifling to be openly Jewish. there are even accounts of jews coming to america and being *disappointed* as conditions even in new york were not always ideal

I've been trying to figure out the name of these flatworms in my yard, which have a black body but a tan face. Today, I think I have finally found the answer: the species doesn't have a name yet. It's just called Genus Name sp. "red head", and one knows where they came from. Cool.

Possibly Anisorhynchodemus flatworm is black with a tan colored face

see i do have very powerful homesickness for eretz yisrael and yerushalayim, in the deepest recesses of my being. when i pray i weep for it the diaspora has never and i dont think ever will truly feel like home to me, but what the modern State govt has done also feels heartbreaking and offensive.

Yes if we wish to be specific, Revisionist Zionism is what Israel has been predominantly governed by through Likud, and since the Six Day War, which effectively ended the foothold of Labor. also Kahanist/Religious Zionist elements, but both are historically vehemently opposed by Labor Zionists

The reason some Jews are so skeptical of criticism of Israel, (and this is explanation and not defense), is that you start with "the Israeli government is racist" and end with what the Green Party actually adopted, which is, "Individual UK Jews can be punished for attending shuls we deem Zionist."

Admittedly i have never tried Fedora! but Mint just is one of the best for user-friendly "just works" and lightweight options. before i switched to it I was defaulting to Kubuntu as i prefer KDE over modern GNOME, but GNOME 2 i like, but otherwise i dislike Ubuntu & Adwaita
