1st August had another 3 nfgarden with a superb Archer’s Dart, Saltmarsh plume (just weird, but escaped without a photo unfortunately) and 2 Agriphila inquinatella/ Barred Grass-moth. Also 2nd ever Dog’s Tooth and a migrant? Tree Lichen Beauty #norfolkmoths #teammoth

20th July started well with a Golden Twin-spot on the outside of the trap, nfgarden. Was second time lucky for me after having one in my previous garden in 1992 ! Also nfgarden Lunar-spotted Pinion. Nfy’s included Lettuce Tortrix, Scarce bordered Straw , Oak Eggar and Olive #teammoth #norfolkmoths

Some moths seen during the day. Pammene Regiana and Aurana to MYO lure, Aspila Funebrana to FUN lure. 5+ Silver Y nectaring with one caught and eaten by an Emperor Dragonfly. A Cinnabar turned up in the Catmint. Not a moth, Norfolk Hawker was seen as well #norfolkmoths #teammoth #britishdragonfly

Near Ormesby I watched a Male Marsh Harrier flying around. It then saw a Mallard carcass in the field, which it then tried to fly off with, unfortunately it was to heavy. It then proceeded to rip it apart in the company of 2 Carrion Crows.

A walk down the beach didn’t produce much so decided to give Ormesby broad a look , it was frozen over but a lovely Kingfisher sat patiently in the only open part. At Clippesby/Oby there were 41 Crane near a maize crop, great to hear there “whooping” the most I’ve seen #NorfolkBirds
