Very sad to hear the news that Colin Renfrew has passed away. Colin was not only a giant of prehistoric archaeology, but a great friend to Orkney, including being Honorary President of Orkney Archaeology Society. Our very best wishes to Jane and family at this sad time, he will be very much missed.

A new book to treasure! The Orkney Heritage Society carried out an oral history project about the cathedral - original recorded interviews are now with Orkney Library, but here are edited highlights. Such a lot of love for 'our' cathedral; choristers, custodians, conservators, ministers...and more!
