Normally bra shopping for me involves choosing between the 1-3 (very expensive and available solely in black/beige/white) bras that fit me in the entire store. Guys...I bought a cute blue bra off the sale rack for $15. I could have bought dozens, hundreds of bras 🤯

Killing time and found myself in the Farmers lingerie section for the first time post-breast reduction. I had to leave in a hurry because I got teary–for the exact opposite reason I normally get emotional bra shopping. There was something in every brand, style and COLOUR that would fit me 🥹🥹🥹

My freezer just died. It was half full of surgery meal prep and half full of dog and human meat (as in for each species to eat, respectively, not the flesh of). And it's the day after our fortnightly shop so fridge is already packed. Fml 😭

The more attention on this the better. Thank you. One important addition is that although the current US admin isn't explicitly AIDS denialist...yet, there have been multiple extremely concerning funding cuts to global and domestic HIV/AIDS testing, education, prevention and treatment initiatives.

I was woefully unprepared for how awful a lot of the other parent's behaviour would be. And these are very casual non-popular sport teams in a very small town in a very small province of my very small country. There's zero reason to be that competitive and aggressive. The kids themselves are chill.

It's non-Newtonian, kinda like silly putty. Firm squish but can also be stretched out. Mine has glitter so it's kinda pokey too. It's silicon-based so it never dries out.

Deeply feel this in New Zealand. I grew up in a town adjacent to another town called Stratford that leans heavily on Shakespearian imagery and naming conventions. Small town rivalry always made me hate Shakespeare just a tad for being associated with such a crusty town.

It was actually kind of hard finding a referee for my kids. The person has to have known them more than a year, can't be a relative, and has to have a NZ passport. We'd recently(ish) relocated so had a small social circle to begin with and knew almost no one with a passport.

I got sent to art therapy as a 21yo after an acute period of traumatic experiences culminating in ending up unemployed & homeless during the GFC. The worst part was she only had crap thin paper & shitty crayons. I've never figured out what either of us was supposed to have got from those sessions.

A few weeks ago my kids' school had more than 3/4 of the kids off, some with confirmed influenza, and 70% of the staff. It's a small school (65 kids) so it was basically just my two and a handful of others that had the flu vaccine. Brutal stuff.
