Not intentionally, but it does kinda fit! I'm not sure that anyone has actually died this way (yet!), but I think I was inspired by this story of a kid who got hit by space junk in 2002

He suffered a fractured toe and a swelling on his forehead after a block of aluminum, 80 centimeters by 50 centimeters and weighing 10 kilograms, from the outer shell of the Resource Second satellite struck him as he sat beneath a persimmon tree in the Shaanxi province of China.[3]
