So this Thursday started off with a huge missile attack throughout the entire country, my apartment hasn’t had electricity since 6 AM and I am just having my first cup of coffee of the day at 13:15. Still no power but I did carry my kid down ten flights of stairs to get coffee in a local cafe.

So the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has issued a statement saying it has ‘received specific information of a potential significant air attack on Nov 20’ and has closed for the day. I’m choosing to believe they’re just really hyped about Stalker 2 and are all staying home to play it.

Well, so far using bluesky kind of feels like the 2010 version of Twitter (the one that would send you text notifications when you’d get a reply, remember those days?). It’s laggy, slow as fuck, kind of ugly and filled with a tiny number of cool mutuals who are way ahead of the crowd.
