Im so stoked! I use to love Jones soda as a kid (especially on a hot summer day). If you love Fallout it’s only $20 at Costco, and it comes with a bottle opener!

Playing Cyberpunk or Horizon is exhausting when real life feels dystopian. So I bought Hello Kitty Island Adventure to relax and damn all I do is work!!! But I guess it’s not called Island Vacation

Just a selfie edited with a pink & green sunburst as the background.

Welp, the federal minimum wage is now officially a poverty wage (as in, a full-time worker earning the federal minimum wage gets paid less than the poverty line for a single person). www.epi.org/blog/the-fed...

Yes 🤣 Fiesta Island really brings out the bros but we go there bc my friend has a little sail boat and the speed limit is low so we don’t have to worry about a jet ski taking out the kids. Hopefully that dumb truck doesn’t take too much business away from the guys pushing the ice cream carts

Interesting. We have solar panel fields in California and they scorch birds and insects that fly over them. The projects also kill/affect tortoises and other wildlife that live there.

🧵 NGC 6302, also known as the Butterfly Nebula, is a remarkable example of how stars, as they age, can take on some nice shapes sometimes resembling flowers or insects. ➡️ apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap22112... This #Hubble image has been processed to highlight incredible 🔭 🧪 #stellarastro #galactic

#Hubble' s image shows the Butterfly Nebula (NGC 6302), a planetary nebula with a symmetrical structure resembling butterfly wings. In the center, a dense ring of dust obscures the central star. The nebula expands in vivid hues: deep blue (oxygen), bright green (hydrogen), and hot red (nitrogen), creating a bright, layered effect against a black background of space. The gaseous "wings" extend widely, with intricate details and glowing filaments.

Yep. I saved hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month just from switching from Substack to self-hosted Ghost. I pay a roughly flat $85/month now (~$75 for mailsending, $10 for hosting), vs. 10% of all my subscription income.

Former Substack creators say they’re earning more on new platforms that offer larger shares of subscription revenue

Former Substack writers who exited the platform in early 2024 are making more money on Beehiiv and Ghost thanks to their fixed pricing models.

I’d love to know why TikTok’s insisting on connecting to Facebook. I think it’s more than just for data. I just opened the app and was automatically met with a pop-up. The design choice between “Cancel” and “Continue” is intentional to make users think they must connect in order to use the app.
