I love this idea! I'm starting to get the bike decked out for Halloween because my toddlers daycare is doing a Trunk or Treat but I'm going to bring my cargo bike and give candy out of the bike trailer instead 😆

I am on the last week of maternity leave and I have a lengthy to do list. I also woke up with a vision. guess which won out for today.

it never starts when I start the car, its always when I'm reversing and need to pay attention to my surroundings so I cant turn it off. I've been going into park, turning it back to the radio, then resuming my reverse. Who asked for this feature 😭

been listening to The Only Plane in the Sky audiobook about 9/11 and I love tech because I'll get in my car on my way to take the kids to daycare and as I'm reversing out of my driveway, the audiobook starts playing over the speaker of people talking about the horrors they saw that day.

When we were taking our engagement photos, we were walking with him through a park and a squirrel fell out of a tree right in front of us and it and Rex were both so startled they just looked at each other for a sec before the squirrel bolted back for the tree and Rex after it.

we have our last night tonight with our first baby, Rex. We got him when he was two years old at Seattle Humane. He's been through 3 moves, our marriage, and the birth of both of girls. We'll miss you deeply Rexxar. our family won't be the same without you.

saw the biggest caterpillar I've ever seen in my life on the bike ride home today. 2.5yo for scaled. we saw it safely across the trail and then said "goodbye caterpillar!"

aaaand she's done! (mostly) I treated myself to a new matching bottle cage. I'm having some wonky front derailleur issues so I'm going to take it to my bike shop for a once-over and some adjustments. it's far from perfect but I'm proud of myself for taking on a project way outside my comfort zone.
