I kinda wish I had a good place to display this because it’s one of the coolest things I’ve painted #MOTU

CGI MOTU snake playset painted in Snake Mountain colors with Battle Armor He-Man facing off against the giant snake as Skeletor sits atop his throne.

Can Haslab Leozak's Lion Chest Animal wear Wildwheel's Hat? This has got internet pet celebrity status written all over it. Leozak says he's open to merchandising rights and is producing a film with Aubrey Plaza providing the voice of Lion Chest Animal.

The Lion Chest Animal is a tiny robot lion cast in teal and black plastic with small green wings. Atop his back, just behind his head, is Wildwheel's Hat

So, I wasted time setting up an account at TakaraTomy Mall with my Tenso shipping info and got all the way to checkout, only to find out NONE of my credit cards work on their site. Glad I have one friend whose card did work, so I have a set and time now to get this fixed for the future.

I could have printed some thermal detonators, yes. But I have other things I’d rather work on, and these are just done.

This Wild King Energon Prime set just went online. I’m going to have to snag a copy of these if I can get my credit card to work at TakaraTomy Mall. But I’m about to hop on a meeting, so hopefully they are still available when I’m done.

Retro Bugbite is so bought. Even if Walmart cancels the preorder like they always do to me, I’ll surely find this on my travels.

“Energon beasts” is what this makes me think and I love it. Guess I need to finish setting up that service to be able to buy and ship from TakaraTomy mall now.

Update on the TRU Japan acquisition by Don Quijote. TRU will eventually not be called TRU. 😢

Don Quijote, Japan’s largest discount store chain, acquired Toy R Us Japan. I wonder what this will mean for the 150 TRU Japan locations…

I did take one pic of Studio Series Cyclonus beside the Kingdom version. They look great together. Strangely, this pic makes it look like the older one is yellowing a bit, but it does not appear that way to the naked eye.

071

Onyx Minor @onyxminor.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I’d already put up for the night when Cyclonus arrived. He looks great in bot mode, and now the Kindgom version will be his Armada. Too tired to transform him tonight, so I’ll save that for when I get home from Dallas this week.

Cobra D.I.R.E. Tech I would absolutely get every single D.I.R.E. Release from here on out, release the B.A.T’s , more troopers, I don’t care. This is turning out to be a fantastic sub team. They turned Crystal Ball form a hypnotist to a K’thulu worshiper and it’s awesome! #GIJoe

MOTU Origins Two-Bad has arrived and I’m both happy and perturbed. They look great, but Mattel broke the articulation system and the ENTIRE point of the line (super-poseable retro figures) giving them a gimmick they didn’t need. Honestly, I bought for completion. :/

Mike Maihack drawn variant cover for BATMAN & ROBIN: YEAR ONE - DYNAMIC DUOS issue 5 (by Chris Samnee and Mark Waid). The Boy Wonder is having the time of his life posing for all of us! Batman is a bit more serious about the situation. Maybe we just let them go about their day of saving lives and solving crimes.

So FedEx didn’t even attempt to deliver my Haslab LAAT today…but they also won’t let me divert it to a pickup location. While there is construction currently on my road, delivery drivers pass through the no thru traffic signs every day and deliver packages.

Onyx Minor @onyxminor.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Oh great. The Mattel Creations Snake Lair and the Hasbro Pulse LAAT are out for delivery so of course I have to be in DFW today for work. I was able to divert the Snake Lair, but my mom will have to be at the house to watch for the LAAT.

I don’t know that I appreciated Mondo MOTU 200X Disco Skeletor’s deco when it originally came out, but I love it know. The Halloween vibe makes it perfect for spooky season, and actually makes him look more unhinged.

Disco Skeletor, free from the box. I wish she was a little more shiny. This is a great Halloween deco.

Mondo MOTU 200X Disco Skeletor came wrapped really well. Foam over the chest and lots of plastic sleeves. Too bad my hand didn’t have any protection when the Havoc Staff slipped in my grip. That tip is sharp. I actually bled a bit. 😂

Mondo MOTU 200X Disco Skeletor has arrived, and the packaging is amazing, though I’m a little sad my box was damaged, apparently before packing. The shipper box doesn’t have corresponding damage. 😢

Good to see Fine and Zeke fully separate. Her costume looks better like this, and Zeke has to be displayed in his true form. Just remembered they had another figure like this that could combine with a Zoid, but the Zoid was chibified.

Artists!!! What is your most popular artwork from 2026 so far? With summer already done, I think it's basically this Bowser drawing I did for Bowser Day. Probably my best art of this year by far minus the dinosaurs and ocean life + OC fanarts.
