The first time I quit I got home and found out the landlord had sent contractors to clean the wood stove chimney but they took it out and then said it was too cold to work and left so I had no heat in a snow storm and that quit lasted like about 2 hours I guess lmao

When I first got a vape I was working on an ambulance and didn't know the score and it was the first time I'd nicced myself up enough to get sick since I was a kid lmao you just don't realize what's happening, whereas a cigarette tells you when you're done by going out

When I quit I found the best method was applied mindfulness and if I was hanging out with smokers and the cravings got bad I'd bum one and think about if it actually made me happy or if it was just delusion *but* I don't think I could've done that if it were 2 bucks each each Jesus

If they want people to think about being "systems engineers" and be more like leaders or supervisors for AI agents, then they have to have extreme ownership and be held responsible for errors their "team" makes. If they're not comfortable with that then maybe they should reflect on that.
