I often find that criticisms of anime are weird because they are very laser focused on takes rooted in a handful of very popular titles You don't really see that in other stuff. Like maybe in specific genres (action films being dumb, horror movies being corny and exploitative) but a whole medium?

I've historically liked these games but I can't deny that I find them a little repetetive (the tactics don't... really leave room for a ton of variety?) Then again it's been like 30 years since I played one, so maybe that alone justifies it but then there's the Dragons Dogma 2 DLC...

John Stewart (the character) is pretty lucky In the comics he started off neat but quickly became just another GL (There's a lot of 'em) But in Justice League (animated) he was awesome, and despite a kinda hard to pull off role (restrained characters always a re) he was great in Lanterns
