Again, absolutely agree. For me though, I don't see any other solution. It would be... impractical, to insist Israel renames itself Palestine and is one state with no internal borders. They've shown they can remove settlements from Palestinian lands though. That'd be a start. But they won't.

Exactly this. If the state of Israel had abided by the terms of the two state solution, that'd be a start. But basically turning Gaza into an open air prison camp for two decades isn't that. Shooting children for throwing rocks at armoured cars isn't that.

I don't disagree with anything you've said. I've long used my miniscule voice to shout about the atrocities committed by Israeli military & police against Palestinians.

Oh I know. This is, ultimately, the UK's fault. Something which most people in the UK seem ignorant/unaware of. If you think about it, Israel is the UK's last imperialistic land grab. But it's done, and I don't see any other viable solution. Which sucks.

I'm not pretending anything. I believe the two state "solution" is the only way forward. Ideally it'd be one big happy multiethnoreligiousetc country with people living side-by-side. But Netanyahu and his ilk just want to wipe out Palestine, and they're not even hiding it anymore.

No, no I can't. It just seems so much worse (even before Oct 7th). The whole "Greater Israel" project continues... It's the "get rid of Israel entirely" and "anyone attending a synagogue is racist" bits that I don't agree with. Unhelpful, at best.
