I think it's "mostly good." Zelda games tend to aim for a distinctive art style, and this gives me a "children's storybook" vibe. For Link specifically, I think the visible threadwork on the tunic and patterning leatherwork look great. It's only the added layer of jerkin over the tunic that's off.

As someone who wasn't sure about the MCU pushing their version of Spider-Man in a more comicbook direction, holy shit, they NAILED IT. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Spectacular. Amazingly one of my favorite MCU, Spider-Man, and super hero movies.

YES! Alexander the Great was already one of my favorite historical figures, and I really enjoyed his character in Fate/Zero. Only off bit is that Alexander is generally depicted as boyish. So he should really look a bit more like Gil or Diarmuid. While Gil should be the massive side of beefcake.

I'd say in terms of actual game development Valve does still "feel" indie. For example, Portal 2 being an indie game. The non-indie [feeling] part is Steam, because it's a storefront where other companies are 'beholden' to Valve.

Minecraft isn't indie anymore because the formerly independent developer was purchased by MICROSOFT. Being published by a massive, publicly traded company pretty explicitly makes you NO LONGER INDIE. It's got nothing to do with the game being a hit or getting merch.
