A rather splendidly violent #BloodBowl referee from @heresyminiatures.com I like painting stripes, right up until I have to paint stripes. The ones on his front look great, on the back they're a bit wobbly. Oh and the victim here is a classic Reikland Reaver, 2nd edition style. #MiniPainting

Miniature painting is collaborative between the sculptor and the painter. I think of it as 3d colouring in, if it was real art I wouldn't be able to do it :) Although. For the record, what some people do with minis is definitely real art.

I had nightmares about the terrifying Myrka from #DoctorWho The fact that it was clearly a pantomime horse covered in seaweed and green paint did not lessen the effect.

There were quite a lot of teams in the rules, and some that never received models (Norse, Werewolves). I think most of the classic races got models in 2nd, but which got painted up as studio teams I don't know. I don't even know if studio armies were a thing yet?

Now that I think about pond trolls, the pond trolls are amphibians. This means that they must be born from spawn like a frog. Maybe initially they are tadpoles and they gradually grow into trolls.

Back in 2011, I drew a Squig team for Garion’s ‘Secret League’ on Fumbbl, so it’s nice to see them become an official part of modern Blood Bowlafter all this time. They look a fun team to play and it was certainly a lot of fun to draw them again. It brought back memories of the Stunty Leeg!

They didn't thin nicely and I think glazing with them will be a nuisance. The glaze medium coming in a pot rather than a dropper is also a pain. I got paint in the medium immediately. However, this might just be learning curve. They are overall, very good, and worth your attention if you paint.

Yesterday me and my daughter tried out the new tone pro paints from #Warhammer. I have thoughts. Overall, they're very good. Coverage is great, and the white drybrushes nicely. The longer working time also helps with wet blending and the red is *very* red.
