We talk about aging as a healthcare issue. We should also be talking about housing. If someone wants to remain in the home and community they know, that should be possible.

What 21st Century ROAD Means for Older Americans
Our nation’s population is aging, and our housing supply is not ready to meet its evolving needs. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of adults age 65 and over rose by 17 million between 2015 and 2025, growing as a share of the total population from 15% to 19%. By 2030, this share … Continued

I was glad to hear Sen. Ed Markey say every child deserves "a very strong floor, and an unlimited ceiling." He tied that floor to health care and education. No family should lose its footing when someone gets sick, and every child deserves a fair chance to build a life.

Young people do not need to wait for some distant point in their careers to begin leading. With the right support, they can start creating meaningful change now. That belief has always been at the heart of Resolution Project.

New York’s affordability challenge is not abstract. People feel it every day in the basic cost of building a life here. I still believe this city can solve hard problems, but we have to be practical about it. A strong floor for New Yorkers, and no ceiling on what this city can build.

The political center is not an ideology right now. It is a lived experience. Can I afford my home? My healthcare? My kids’ future? These are not side issues. They're the floor.

Now that the celebrations around America’s 250th have come and gone, I think it's time we focus on what comes next. It’s good to pause and celebrate how far this country has come. There's a lot worth honoring in the American story after all.

It's graduation season again, and for those entering the workforce, the honest answer is that no one knows exactly what comes next. Career paths that once felt predictable now look very different, but that uncertainty also makes one thing clearer.

Strong Floor, No Ceiling starts with the belief that people need a real foundation beneath them and a real opportunity ahead. That means a system that prevents people from falling too far, while keeping the promise that hard work and perseverance can take someone as far as they are able to go.

While I’d love everyone to read every word, I know that’s a lot to ask. The good news is you don’t need to. The core idea can stand on its own. The title is the framework. If it resonates, you have the essence. If you want the full context, you have the rest of the book.
