Last summer, I took my mom on a train ride through the Rocky Mountains. Early in the morning, we watched the fog slowly roll away as the sun rose behind the mountains. This tiny painting brings me back to that moment with my mom. The awe, the beauty, the wonder. #blueskyart #tinyart

Ash Wednesday thoughts. We are made of the dust from stars - valuable, precious beings who matter. And yet, to stardust we will return. Our time is short, those in power will come and go, anxieties, grief, victories and joy alike will pass. What will last? Love. So: how will I love today?

A quote that reads, “From stardust we came, to stardust we return” is highlighted in white text on top of a dark grey box which is on a background painting of the Milky Way galaxy. A small watermark at the bottom right corner reads “@olivechanart.”
