Something deep inside me told me I should draw Donkey Kong today.

the thing that always gets me about a remake going down this path visually is the realization that they might've always imagined the game being Like This, that the blank spaces that kids filled in with their imaginations have always been signs of some incomplete quality that had to be "fixed"
