Yall. Sorry I’ve been MIA. It’s birthday season in my family and I’ve been busy lol. My 4yo asked for a leafeon piñata for her bday, so I made one!

I inherited my husband’s grandmother’s Gingher fabric and plinking shears. She still stored them in the original boxes and sheaths along with the receipt. Purchased 5-7-1970 for $12.08 total. Can’t wait to use them. It’s like holding a little piece of history 💕

An early wake up from my teething toddler means getting my seam ripping done early!

So I’m starting new meds. Actually had some motivation. Worked on a project, messed up and have to seam rip some pieces. Became defeated and now I’m lying down early. So much going on in the world I’m going let myself be defeated tonight and hopefully get back to it tomorrow.

Ok. So. Per this law, the way it is written, EVERYONE is female on this planet. IF we are going by the sex AT CONCEPTION, every single fetus begins female, and only after 6-8 weeks do the chromosomes potential change. Sorry men. The future is female 🤷‍♀️ I’m reading and understanding that right, right?

Finished the stuffies for my 18mo! Now to finish the dinosaur for my 3.5yr old. Stuffies and their clothes are from Bon Patterns!

Husband’s job has a use it or lose it PTO policy, some most years he gets to take a week or two off around the holidays to use up what he didn’t during the year.

If you had told high school me that I would end up with a hobby that used a lot of math, I would have thought you were crazy. 😂 trying to figure out the right size triangles for a beanie appliqué!!

My 18mo kept trying to tear the book’s pages, so I did actually get a gift finished! Memory sweater made for my mom using clothes from all of her grandkids to spell her name!

Welp. I got as far as cleaning my desk and getting the fabric out. Then my kids’ coughs developed into occasional gagging and mucus puke, so the day’s plans changed to intense cuddle time on the couch between coughing fits. Now to watch shitty horror movies on Prime to decompress.
