Saw someone on reddit say we shouldn't be starting Lewis Dunk in 2026. I disrespectfully disagree. They would have fucking hammered us were it not for him. Malick unquestioningly the player of the match, but we'd have been in real trouble without the captain today. #BHAFC
Lewis Dunk's heat match from Brighton v Leeds earlier today, showing that our captain was nigh on everywhere at the back (and almost everywhere else as well).

Went looking but couldn't find a gif of a specific Veltman moment that had me howling. (No, not the Declan Rice debacle or the Cucurella clattering.) Thanks to an online video to gif converter, I am delighted to present this moment of Joël Veltman v James Maddison. Oh Joël, we will miss you. #BHAFC

Love the photos the club are putting up today, but (and I say this as a relatively accomplished knitter) the crest is *diabolical* compared to the usual. Dug out one of my older scarves to check and goodness me they've done us dirty here. The poor seagull looks like it's eaten poisoned chips. #BHAFC
The Brighton and Hove Albion 125th anniversary scarf tied around a pole on the bandstand with the West Pier seen in the distance.)A closeup of a previous Brighton and Hove Albion scarf not tied around a pole on the bandstand with the West Pier seen in the distance, and more's the pity.

Wonderful to see that we got the Costinha deal done. Wouldn't it be nice if these two caused some carnage. #BHAFC

Interesting team sheet for the girls against Arsenal. Dario's clearly making the FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool the priority (as he should) and resting the big guns. Happy to still see Hayes at the back, she's been absolutely massive of late and I suspect she's going to have a busy day. #BHAFC
Team sheet for Albion Women against Arsenal: Nnadozie, Minami, Noordam, Rayner, Olislagers, Tvedten, Hayes, Camacho, Mclauchlan, Tsunoda, Rule.

Apologies for the twitter screenshot, but christ this made me laugh. #BHAFC
Twitter screenshot of a tweet from the Mirror: 'Oasis Icon Noel Gallagher splits from girlfriend Sally Mash after two years', which @DanReilly92 has retweeted and asked, 'Is that the guy who plays for Brighton?'

I don't expect much good will come from visiting that cursed football ground tomorrow, but the energy of seeing Solly March back in big boy training will carry me through no matter the result. #BHAFC
Some of the Brighton men in training, Solly March visible to the left. Five of the six players pictured are bundled up against the chill. But Joël Veltman, true to form, doesn't seem troubled by paltry human things like 'cold' and is wearing shorts. In Lancing. In January. Crumbs.

Been saying/hoping all week that Danny would score today. A king among men. He loves a goal against these pricks. #BHAFC

Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah Welbeck, the man that you are. You've given us a memory to cherish (though you can tell by the attached photo that other opinions are available). #BHAFC
Danny Welbeck, Brighton and Hove Albion striker and all-time top goalscorer, is stood on an advertising hoarding facing Newcastle fans with his arms wide, celebrating his exquisite match-winning goal in extra time. The home fans aren't best pleased, including a wee boy flicking Danny the Vs (which I find fairly refreshing in a world increasingly dominated by the middle finger).
