On the personal front, that's bad news I didn't want to hear ever again.

No matter how much you hype it up social media.... I'm still not seeing Avengers Endgame Encore at the cinema. I saw the original a while back too.

Kings Heath Comic Con was a great success. Last year we had 250+ people through the door. This year... 800+! See you all next year on Saturday, 18th September 2027.

@philipreadart.bsky.social Hi Phillip, are you doing any pre show commissions for Thought Bubble, or at the show?

The first two arcs were impressive cinematic storytelling but it really began to lose steam afterwards. The art was definitely something though.

Strong writing by @phillipkjohnson.bsky.social and equally good artwork by Jonas Snarf, he's one of those guys that knows how to draw Hulk too and that last page strongly wants me to see more classic Nick Fury.

Well, IT'S READYish. Kickstarter pre-launch is active! Please sign up there if you fancy it. I can then gauge interest which gives me ideas for funding targets, add-ons etc. It should go live in October for an appropriately spooky seasonal Kickstarter! Thank you! www.kickstarter.com/projects/aly...

Art recharging by looking at some kevin nowlan, I've never seen this hulk / banner piece before, it's great!

Puny banner, standing in front of an incredible hulk. Beautiful bold inking and art by Kevin Nowlan.

A great little crossover that is forever trenched in my mind and that's largely down Marvel UK reprints back in the 80s. Solid writing by Roger Stern and great art by Sal Buscema.

"The Transformers do not endorse the views of the President" okay, great, yeah, it's very normal that you had to say that. This is an ordinary world where things make sense. It's normal that I'd wake up to an official statement from cartoon robots denouncing the man who has the nuclear codes.

I was always fan casting a Hulk movie back in the 90s, and I wondered what a CGI Hulk would look like back in those times. Most of this casting would have worked, I could never see David Duchnovy as Bruce Banner, although I think Johnny Depp would have been a good Banner too.

BTAS has still got it and it's the most faithful to the character too.
