It appears that Zelenskyy has made an enormous error and has indeed removed/replaced the popular Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. Official conformation of this error of judgement comes tomorrow it seems. A very big and unpopular mistake.

More talks designed to drag out the process with no result from a Kremlin persepctive. There's not going to be a ceasefire until Autumn at the earliest, if at all during 2026. An end to the war is probably years away.

UA can expect very little from the Trump/Ze meeting if Trump considers his phone call with Putin "very productive" Putin will have restated his non-negotiable terms once again, and once again Trump will try and force it on UA which will be unacceptable to UA and Europe as a whole.

It appears that the odious and distinctly dubious Odesa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov is about to have his Ukrainian citizenship removed, and thus can no longer act as Mayor. Rumour has it that the relevant decree awaits the president's signature imminently.
