A bunch of pigs in Texas, Trump's EPA did this. "Today, we are cutting the red tape to deliver the largest power sector deregulatory action ever. We are also proposing to rescind all remaining greenhouse gas emission standards for power plants -- all of them." #FDT 🧪🔬

NEW: In March the White House released an FY27 budget request that zeroed out the National Science Foundation's directorate of Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE). For months it was unclear what would happen. Now, with FY26 over, the damage to SBE is coming to light. My reporting:

A contractor was at my house a few days ago. The last time he was there - about two years ago - he told me that he'd been having some brain fog after Covid. This time, he told me, completely nonchalantly, that he, 'can't remember anything now'. He's ten years younger than me.

A friend has Covid right now. They have lost their sense of smell and they're having cognitive problems. This hit me today, as it often does: we made, and continue to make, a huge collective mistake in allowing a virus that impacts the brain to transmit unmitigated globally.

Today is Brett “he covered my mouth so I couldn’t scream” Kavanaugh’s anniversary on SCOTUS. It’s my mission to live long enough to see SCOTUS expanded by enough seats to make “I Like Beer” Brett irrelevant (plus cameras in the courtroom, for the schadenfreude). Men have no idea how mad we are.

Men have no idea how angry women are. No clue the rage. It's not just Cornell. It's Cornell, the Epstein files, and Giselle Pelicot, it's the rape academy and motherless. It's the girl raped at LSU, the girl carrying the mattress she was raped on, and pregnant girls in ICE detention centers. It's Donald Trump, Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, it's women who are carrying dead fetuses and can't abort until her life is in danger. It's Al porn, nudifying and deep-fakes. It's men yelling about false accusations, it's #metoo and it's #iamjanedoe. Change is coming and there is no man alive who is going to be able to stop it. Political cartoon with Brett Kavanaugh holding up his calendar saying “yeah but does she have her own special calendar??”

His calendar is marked:
No Raping
Kegger
Definitely No Raping
Frat Party
Was Gonna Rape But Thought Better Of It
Booze Cruise
And Light Groping But Zero Rape
